Our pediatric unit provides specialized pediatric care in a child and family-centered environment for children who need diagnostic testing, outpatient therapies and treatments, ambulatory surgery and general inpatient care.
Recognizing the vital role that family, emotional care and social care play in a healing environment, the pediatric unit delivers a model of care that proactively involves the entire family, not just the patient. This model of care has helped shape the program and facility design.

| Patient Rooms:
Each room also contains storage, a flat screen TV, and a workstation. Internet access allows parents to catch up on on work if necessary. Each room has a large window view.
The patient rooms include a family sleeper chair in each room to accommodate a parent or caregiver spending the night with their child. |

| Play Room/Family Lounge:
The unit has a dedicated space for families to relax and get away if needed during their stay. The play room is equipped with games, age appropriate toys that are cleaned daily, books and other activities to keep children and siblings active. The family lounge is set up to resemble a home-like great room. There is a large flat screen TV, a computer station with access to the internet, seating similar to a living room, and a kitchenette for preparing snacks or sharing a meal with family and visitors. The family lounge and play room are connected with an archway so parents can monitor their children during visitation with friends and family members.
