Watertown Regional Medical Center and UW Health are pleased to announce a multidisciplinary thyroid clinic at the Johnson Creek Clinic. Endocrinologist Juan Jaume, MD, and surgeon Rebecca Sippel, MD, provide a multidisciplinary approach which allows patients to see both providers and complete their evaluation in one visit. They treat conditions such as thyroid cancer, Graves’ disease, adrenal masses and hyperthyroidism.
Dr. Jaume is an associate professor at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health in the Department of Medicine. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine diseases in general, with particular interest in endocrine autoimmunity and thyroid cancer. He directs the UW Health Multidisciplinary Thyroid Clinic, which brings together a complete team of health care professionals to treat benign and malignant thyroid nodules.
Dr. Sippel is an associate professor at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health in the Department of Surgery. She has received specialized training in surgical treatment of the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands. She is an expert in parathyroid surgery and offers the latest in minimally invasive approaches for the treatment of hyperparathyroidism. Dr. Sippel is also dedicated to the treatment of both benign and malignant diseases of the thyroid.
