Holly Van Hecke, MD

Additional Comments:
A native of Milwaukee, Dr. Van Hecke earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in classical music at Indiana University, and her medical degree at the University of Illinois-Chicago. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, IL and the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago. Dr. Van Hecke returned to Wisconsin to practice ophthalmology in Watertown in 1994.  She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow in the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Van Hecke practices general ophthalmology and welcomes all ages, but specializes in complex medical eye problems, low vision and children’s eye care.

When not working, Dr. Van Hecke enjoys competitive saddle seat horseback riding, ballroom dancing and is a member of the Jubilate Chorale. She and her husband, children and grandchild all reside in Wisconsin and participate in many outdoor activities together.
