Additional Comments:Dr. Roberson grew up in Racine, WI. He attended Concordia University, WI, where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology. He received his PhD in biomedical research from The Medical College of Wisconsin, and his Optometry Doctorate from The New England college of Optometry in Boston, MA. During his internship/externship year he saw patients in Boston, MA; Peoria, IL; Bethel, AK; and Miami, FL. He then completed a primary care and medical optometry residency at the James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, IL. He joined the WRMC Center for Eye Care team in July of 2014.
In the clinic he practices full scope medical optometry including primary eye care (prescribing glasses and contact lenses), and manages a range of ocular conditions including glaucoma, dry macular degeneration, and diabetic eye care. He enjoys spending time developing good rapport with each patient, and believes very strongly in making sure his patients understand their diagnosis and the reasons for their treatment and follow up.
When not in clinic, Dr. Roberson enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, camping, walking his dog, and hiking.
Dr. Roberson sees patients ages 1 year old and older and is accepting new patients at this time.
